This position will support the Institutional Services Contract (ISC) at Kennedy Space Center, FL. The candidate will be responsible for Electrical Power Systems, Security Systems and Control Systems. Responsibilities will include: Manage assigned systems to ensure optimal system life, performance and availability; provide long range system planning along with developing programs for systems upgrade, replacement, and improved reliability/availability; ensure system operations and maintenance is in accordance to system requirements and life-cycle expectations; provide accurate and timely resolution of anomalies; and periodically evaluate performance and condition of assigned systems.

This position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 10 years minimum work experience, MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 8 years work experience or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with 6 years minimum work experience. NASA experience desired. An active Florida PE license in engineering is preferred. Must have knowledge and experience with design/analysis tools and relevant design codes. Candidates must have extensive system experience in one or more of the following sustaining, operations and systems engineering areas: power management, relay coordination, industrial controls, protective/security systems, firex systems, conventional electrical facilities requirements. Candidate must have familiarity with design/analysis tools and aplicable electrical codes. Must have good communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
